Advanced Scaffolding (SW) Ltd have an ongoing training program within the company to ensure that all our team members have a thorough knowledge of all types of scaffolding and the current CODES OF PRACTICE. We work closely with the CITB who advise and train most of our workforce. 

 

ALL Scaffolders hold their CISRS cards which they are awarded after taking their Health & Safety training tests.

Training

Trainee Scaffolders are certified in-

• Abrasive Wheel Training 

• Mobile Towers 

• Safety Harnesses 

• Fire Safety 

• First Aid Training 

• Manual Handling

We provide full PPE to all operatives who are required to wear these where applicable...... 

 

• Safety Boots 

• Hi-Visibility vests/coats 

• Hard Hats 

• Safety Harnesses 

• Goggles 

• Gloves 

 

All operatives are inducted onto new sites and briefed on the Health & Safety issues before work commences.

We have Scaffolders who have taken additional Specialised training to hold CONFINED SPACES ENTRY Qualifications - Enabling us to work Underground / Confined Areas. Ie Sewage tanks .......... 

 

Our Fully Qualified Scaffolders at Advanced Scaffolding (SW) Ltd have full training in: 

 

• Cantilever 

• Drop 

• Two Way Shore 

• Dead Shore 

• Staircase 

• Ramp 

• Tubular Drop 

• Temporary Roof Scaffolds 

• Haki Stair Systems 

 

They are also trained to interpret and utilise Risk Assessments and Method Statements. 

 

Recently Advanced Scaffolding (SW) Ltd have had some of the workforce trained as Construction Site Supervisors. 

The staff hold an Advanced Construction Site, Supervisors Card. 

Advanced Scaffolding (SW) Ltd have an external Health & Safety adviser designated to our Health & Safety requirements, who are responsible for updating our Health & Safety policies and information whenever appropriate. We employ Your Safety Advisor for our Health and Safety Management.
